Welcome to Hope Driving School Ltd. We are based out of Hope, British Columbia and we serve the following local areas: Agassiz, Hope, Chilliwack and the Fraser Valley Regional District. We are certified to instruct Class 1-MELT, 2, 3, 4, 5/ 7 Graduated Licensing Program practical on road training. With over 25 years’ experience in the transportation and construction industry as a professional driver and operator, we are here to offer our services as a driver trainer. Whether you are a new driver or upgrading to a higher-class license we have the qualifications to help you gain the confidence and skills to successfully drive!

DriveWise BC Graduated Licensing Program (GLP)

Hope Driving School, in partnership with DriveWise BC, offers an ICBC-approved GLP program. This comprehensive program includes both classroom theory (via Zoom and E-learning) and in-car lessons to equip new drivers with the skills needed for safe and confident driving.

GLP Essentials- $1480

  • 12 hours of in car lessons

  • 12 hours of classroom theory, 4 zoom sessions with DriveWise

  • 8 hours of self guided e-learning through the Go! Driving Program

ICBC Graduated Licensing Program Requirements

  • High School Students are GST exempt. Must be enrolled in high school at the start of the course.
  • GLP Students can reduce 6 months off their 7N (Novice Stage) and receive 2 Grade 11 high school credits upon completion of the course.
  • To meet ICBC requirements, Students must complete and pass all components of the course in the 7L (Learners Stage) and within 12 months of starting the program to qualify. To be eligible for 6 months of the 7N stage, students must NOT have any at fault accidents and no traffic violations.
  • Additional in car lessons are available if more in car time is necessary.
