DriveWise BC GLP (graduated license program)
START Driver Training, in partnership with DriveWise BC, offers the DriveWise BC ICBC-approved GLP program. This program combines in-car training with classroom sessions to create a balanced and thorough driver education experience.
ICBC Graduated Licensing Program Requirements
- High School Students are GST exempt. Must be enrolled in high school at the start of the course.
- GLP Students can reduce 6 months off their 7N (Novice Stage) and receive 2 Grade 11 high school credits upon completion of the course.
- To meet ICBC requirements, Students must complete and pass all components of the course in the 7L (Learners Stage) and within 12 months of starting the program to qualify. To be eligible for 6 months of the 7N stage, students must NOT have any at fault accidents and no traffic violations.
- Additional in car lessons are available if more in car time is necessary.
