DriveWise Driving Simulators
Our driving school is equipped with state-of-the-art driving simulators in EACH of our classrooms. We also have the DriveWise Trailer which enables us to bring simultion training directly to your location (As seen with the Nanaimo PARTY program and the Nanaimo General Hospital and the DRIVE 09 program with the Nanaimo RCMP)
All skills taught in our classroom are reinforced in our driving simulator and then again when the go in a car with a DriveWise instuctor! New, young and mature drivers enjoy learning to drive with Simulation!
Remember - Driving Simulation does not replace in car training, it enhances the learning curve and prepares drivers for situations we can not set up safely on the road!

Why Does Training in a Driving Simulator Make Sense?
The aerospace industry will not allow pilots to fly an aircraft without flight simulator training first * We simply can’t teach winter driving techniques in the summer without a driving simulator- Fog, rain, high winds (especially on a tall bridge) are best experienced on the simulator first. Practice does make perfect!
- No matter how hard we try, we can’t predict when a DEER might jump in front of you. But it's guaranteed to happen more then once in the driving simulator!
- Tire-blowouts on the highway at 100 kms per hour are definitely BETTER experienced on the driving simulator first
- Distractions such as cell phones and coffee cups are also best experienced on the driving simulator first before students experience real-life distractions while driving on a busy downtown street
- The only place to experience driving while under the influence of a drug- or alcohol-like state is on a driving simulator. Students experience firsthand what this is like while wearing our Fatal Vision Goggles. We can replay any "impaired" drive to show students how their vehicle handling abilities decrease dramatically. This is a valuable lesson you can not teach anywhere else!
- We guarantee you will love the Simulator! Sure makes learning to drive much safer and more enjoyable for our students!
